Auto Transport & guaranteed Pick Up Times

In reference to our last post holiday car shipping there and with holidays upcoming there is a lot of hoopla about "transport pick up times". Those fortunate enough to get a new car for a gift want to make sure it there on that special day. With that said as we have discussed in the past posts ask for a guaranteed pick up time for your vehicle and TRANSPORT DELIVERY time and get it in writing. DON'T FORGET picking up in this business does not always mean delivery right away that is. I cant specify that enough. Chances are you will pay more for your auto transport but it beats looking at the long face of a loved one. Also ask what the refund policy of the transport broker or carrier and have a back up Auto transporter in mind!~

Holiday Car Purchases Online

Are you thinking about buying your significant other a car this holiday season or perhaps you son or daughter? We know the internet provides us with great prices and unlimited selections for automobiles and motorcycles. The problem is how do you get it from there to here you might say.

Give yourself enough time and for shipping and transport preprations and it should be sitting in your driveway for that special holiday, and get hugged so hard your eyes will bulge. If you dont be prepared to hand out an IOU on the holiday and getting dirty looks and grunts all day.

NOW is the time to start making arrangements for the shipping of your newly purchased car or motorcycle or perhaps a boat to be transported. It doesnt mean you'll spoil the surprise and have it there to soon its just wise to have the arraingements made now. Auto transport carriers and brokers get busy and at least 3-6 weeks is recommended for car transport and a little less for motorcycle shipping. You can make arrangements for the vehicle to even stay at the transporters terminal if neccessary, or you have no place else to store the vehicle.

It will be highly unlikely you will get the transport carrier to deliver right close to the holiday as they celebrate holidays as well. SO do your research and book your transport now after researching the choosen transport company.

Door to door auto transport or terminal to terminal shipping?

What is all this door to door and terminal to terminal auto shipping you ask and what the flux in price quotes? Here the scoop in a few simple paragraphs.

What is aterminal first off? A terminal is a place not just airports have but also carriers have to place cars in holding. Its a seucred lot most of the time.

Terminal to terminal auto transport is not only for those looking to save money on car shipping but also reserved for those with other needs. If your street or wherever your car is going to be for the auto shipper to pick up is not big enoough to get an auto carrier than thats your best bet. Also if you are not going to be there and have no arrangments on that particular date for someone else there than terminal auto transport may also be for you.

Door to door car transport is good for those who will be ther to meet the driver picking up your car and who have enough room for the auto carrier to manuever. Door to door transport may cost you more but is more conveinant.
