Why do car shipping companies deposit requirements vary?

Many auto shipping brokers use various methods to book your vehicle. While some consumers are skeptical of the 0 down deposit to reserve your transport, one needs not to be hesitant.

The reason is they are looking for a car transporter/ truck to pick up and deliver the vehicle. Once that process is done they in most cases will want a deposit.

The car carrier/drive will most likely collect the rest at time of delivery. That's assuming they do not own their own trucks as well as retain a brokers license. those companies may collect more up front as they have more control of the pick up and delivery.

Spring is Coming Fast For Vehicle Shipping

With a mild winter in most of the country, spring is rapidly approaching. For those in need of vehicle shipping services like students & snow birds who ship their cars back home or motorcycle rally fans and avid boaters.

Factors That Effect Vehicle Shipping Costs

One of the most common questions we answer to consumers is what mostly effects the cost of vehicle shipping? There is not just one answer to that question. However, one of the most influential things would be the type of transport. Enclosed auto shipping is the more expensive than open transport.

Other major factors include the size of the vehicle being shipped & the shipping distance. Also, any non operable vehicle requires special equipment, especially non rolling as it requires a flat bed tow truck to pick up the vehicle. Another factor is when the vehicle needs to be picked up. The more time you allow, the cheaper it's going to be.
