Shipping Motorcycles
So your saving on gas and just bought that dream bike on eBay or from motorcycle trader.com. Now you have got to get it home in time to ride it before winter sets in.
Unlike car shipping there are some differences when shipping a motorcycle.
1. Its recommended that you ship your bike enclosed.
2. Give yourself at least 3 weeks for pick up and delivery of your motorcycle.
3. You do not have to drain the gas tank unless you are transporting the bike overseas or by freight.
4. Most transporters will use special transport equipment for motorcycles, that keep the bikes securely fastened during transport.
5. Always compare at least 3 quotes before booking your transport!
