Thinking ahead when shipping a vehicle!
Spring is almost here and gas prices are on the rise. Normally we advise that you book your car shipping 6-8 weeks in advance of the date you need your vehicle to arrive at it's destination.
However with oil prices on the rise because of unrest in the middle east, you may want to lock your transport in early when possible. Gas prices are predicted to continue to rise and some transportation experts foresee a price of over $4.00 per gallon and diesel fuel prices to exceed that.
So our advice is when possible book your vehicle shipping sooner rather than later. This could save you hundreds, plus it's best to have your vehicle arrive early rather than late before the busy season for car carriers kicks in.
