Ship and fly, or drive it?
The industry old dilema. Should I drive the car myself or have it transported and fly? That is the question. Well if i drive it myself i wont have to pay an auto transporter and I will save there but wait..., what about gas and hotel costs? So I will have it shipped. But wait, airline fees have gone up, decisions, decisions, decisions.
Making it easier by asking yourself a few questions:
1. First decide whats best for you at that time. Things like are you pressed for time currently? Do you like to drive & up for a road trip?
2. Are you a person of convenience? Than flying makes more sense. Having the car professionally transported and waiting at your destination when you arrive is definitely a better choice for you.
3. What is the difference in price and how much would I actually save by not having my car transported?
Weigh out the current cost of gas and your time. The Bottom line is having your automobile shipped is not that much more if you dont like to drive long distances and would prefer to fly.
