Looking deeper that the lowest shipping rate- having your cake & eating it!
Hundreds of times per day we get requests from consumers shipping there vehicles that they are looking for the lowest rate. Well that's sounds reasonable and a wise request its not always the best strategy.
Here's why,
the auto transport business in just like many others, that in most cases you get what you pay for. You pay for discounted vacation or cruise and you usually end up in the engine room or close by. (LOL). Or take a retail shopping experience for example, you get a good score on a cheap pair of pants or a sweater and its usually faded or ripped within a few months.
Okay whats my point? That you get what you pay for and its no different with the transport industry. While there are some tips that can save you money like being flexible on the pick up and delivery dates to some extent. Also shopping your business around and getting at least 3 auto shipping quotes before you deciding on a shipper!
