The Transport Process (most likely)

Its more than likely if you need your auto transported, an auto transport broker is going to move your car and book the job. As posted in our previous car shipping posts, brokers do not own trucks. So the question becomes well how do they move it?

Brokers may already have an established relationship with a trucking company who services that route. The broker will pay that trucing company an agreed fee and keep a smaller percent of your transport for themselves.

Another method they will use to get your vehicle moved is thru load posting boards. Brokers subscribe to these auto load boards and post your vehicle along with the details and the fee they will pay the driver. Carriers/truckers will also subscribe to this board for a monthly fee and view these available loads and what they are paying. If it makes since for the carrier route and fee they will contact the broker and move it. The majority of all vehicles shipped within the US are transported like this.
