Motorcycle shipping
Although the primary focus of this shipping & transport blog is auto transport we are often asked about our motorcycle shippers and the services they offer. One of the first items that comes up on the list is I want my motorcycle transport enclosed. While unlike car movers the majority of all motorcycle transport is enclosed as a given. While there are some carrier who will transport bikes open most of the professional motorcycle shippers only have enclosed transport equipment.
The other question primarily asked is do they have to drain the gas tank for transport. Unless it is being shipped via airplane (international transport or crated) the answer is no. Also crating is only if you want it again international or shipped instead of transported, as it will roll on and roll off the trailer.
