Hurricane Katrina & Transport Delays

We have recently received phone calls from people who live in areas hit by the devastating Hurricane Katrina. They were shipping cars from Louisiana or Mississippi and now there vehicles have not been picked up. Their question has been that the auto shipper they booked with has not picked up their car, so do we have anyone that can? The answer is no. If this were a case (which happens often) that there were no extenuating circumstance and the transport company they choose was late, or not being completely honest about the exact pick up of their automobile we could help.

Unfotunately that is not the case. Hurricane Katrina has left massive damage to roads leading into those states and no trucks will be going in for quite a few weeks or possibly even more. Please be patient. When roads reopen you may be better if possible to drive the car to a nearby accessible area. These road closures will also delay auto transport to and from other states as well as carriers will need to seek alternate routes in the southern portions of the United States. Those of you who have been inconvenienced, remember the losses including property and life of those suffered from Hurricane Katrina and your delay will soon seem insignificant.
