Enclosed Auto Transport or Open Shipping?
There are many factors involved shipping a car, but one of the main options you need to choose is if you prefer your enclosed auto shipping or open or standard. Open car transport is the typical or standard way to transport the majority of autos. Its what you see on the road, or at the car dealers carrying 9-11 cars most of the time.
Enclosed auto transport is when the car is in an enclosed transporter so you would not be able to see it. It could be a smaller truck shipping it or a large semi. The enclosed transport protects your car from weather and road debris and is highly recommended for more expensive automobiles and collector cars. It typically can cost 30-40 percent more than standard auto transport.
