auto transport company or moving company there are quite a few sources out there at your disposal. The problem lies (no pun intended) in which shipping resource is legitimate? Its easy to skew things especially if the web publication is put out by biased or "motivated individuals". Obviously you can and should check with the
BBB about the auto transporter as one resource. Now keep in mind, that just because a company has a few marks on their record doesn't mean they are not a good company and you should book your car with them. Some companies ship hundreds and hundreds of automobiles and in this industry stuff happens. What you should be cautious of is a pattern of the same complaint.
You can also check the
fmcsa website which is run by the federal government and will let you know whetherthe auto transporter has the right licenses and insurances needed. Another auto transport resource to check companies is
transport reviews. The best approach is to check several of these resources and go with the company you feel best about. One resource is not always the best approach to use when it comes to
car shipping.
Many people moving inquire about
self moves and what is the difference between that and a full service moves. If you want to save money and don't mind throwing in some of your own muscle and time than a self move can save you money. If your the type that would rather not deal with it and pay the extra money opt for a full service
moving company. Same thing with auto transport. You could drive it your self and pay for
gas only or you can hire an
auto shipper to have it transported. While the latter is more expensive it will save you quite abit of time and comfort.
